• Thresher Sharks
• Best time: April - November for shallow water sightings
• Fuvahmulah offers divers a rare opportunity to see thresher sharks, typically deep-water dwellers, as they move into shallower waters to visit reef cleaning stations. While these sharks are often spotted during deep dives or in low light at dawn or dusk, Fuvahmulah provides the chance to see them in shallower depths (12 to 15 meters) and at any time of day during the right season.
