        Tips to know Before You Book
          • The official language is Dhivehi, but English is widely spoken.
          • Make sure to purchase your data Tourist SIM card at the airport for easy access to mobile data during your stay.
          • The Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) is the local currency, but USD, EURO, and Sterling are widely accepted. Please avoid exchanging currency at the airport, as rates may not be favorable
          • Modest dress is recommended when visiting local islands.
          • While not mandatory, a tip of around 10% is recommended for good service at restaurants, and a small tip for hotel staff and drivers is appreciated.
          • The voltage is 220-240V, and British-style plugs are used.
          • Expect a tropical climate—be sure to pack light clothing and sunscreen (Reef Safe)
